XM2WAV CONVERTER
Do you need to convert the tracks to WAV format? XM2WAV is the tool you need.
It says it's to be used in the MS-DOS Prompt of Windows 95/98, but it'll work for the conversion in the Command Line of the newer versions too.
For easy usage, place the XM-files you want to convert into the same directory with the XM2WAV program. The command that I use for my purposes is as follows:
xm2wav *.xm -cv 15
If you want to know, this means: "Convert all the files with XM as file extension in this directory into WAV files, convert them into 16-bit and give volume value 15." I've gotten used to using this and don't see why I should change it. Whatever works for you is just as well.
Someone told me that Mad Tracker converts the XM directly into WAV or MP3, but I wouldn't know. Fast Tracker 2 and Sk@le Tracker can convert to WAV and their interfaces are pretty much the same thing. Modplug Tracker has a "Save Wav" button on it.
